I'm involved in the PTO because...

I'm involved in the PTO because...this is one of the best ways to be involved with my children's lives. Not only am I able to meet and know the staff, but it has given me the opportunity to build friendships with other parents at the same stage of life. As a mostly SAHM, the PTO is a great investment of my time and talents. 

I'm involved with the PTO because...as a stay at home mom, it's hard to get out and make new friends. I also wanted to be more involved in my children's lives. I love to help in any way I can and I think joining the PTO was one of the best choices I could have made to accomplish all of that!

I'm involved in the PTO because...I wanted to be more involved in my kids' school. What I didn't expect to happen is the feeling of family that comes with it. You become more than a face in the crowd. The principal knows you by name, this time for good reasons. In my opinion, it is also important for my kids to see that sometimes you have to raise your hand when no one else will. 

I'm involved in the PTO because...it is a great way for me to meet and build relationships with my children's teachers and staff at the school.  I work full-time and this helps me feel connected to things that are happening in their daily lives. It also allows me to meet other parents and foster connections and friendships for years to come!
